SPIRIT TRAVEL & ASTRAL PROJECTION "How Did I Get Here"
Kingdom Greetings, Lately, I have been receiving quite a few inquiries concerning outer body experiences. Is it possible? Who is causing it? Is it of God or of the devil? Prayerfully this article will shed some light on the subject and bring any deliverance to those that may need it. Before tackling astral projection I would like to deal with spirit traveling… Personally, I have had countless outer body experiences, however none of them were self induced, this is what I call spirit travel or traveling by the spirit. Spirit travel is when God (Holy Spirit) transports your soul and consciousness to another place. (Ezek. 8:3). Spirit travel can happen unconsciously or consciously (2 Cor. 12:1-4; Rev. 4:1-3) Some might ask how does it happen especially when they are sleep? Well, the bible declares in Song of Solomon 5:3 that as we sleep our heart stays awake. First, we must understand when the heart is being referred to it’s dealing with the heart that gave our souls life, not the muscle in the center of our chest that keeps our physical body alive (conscious). In Gen. 2:7 the breath (spirit) of God is what was breathed into us and is now the driving force that keeps us alive and awake. As spirit beings it is our physical bodies that need rest and fall asleep not our spirits. (Ps. 127:2) God never sleeps nor slumbers (Ps. 127:4) and neither does the portion of His spirit that is within us causing us to be living souls. Our souls will even be alive and awake in heaven and or hell, however our bodies will return to the dust or become incorruptible. (Gen. 3:19; Ecc. 3:20; Lk. 16:14-31;1 Cor. 15:53-55) Though Spirit traveling is not dreaming, it can feel like it’s a dream and can happen during the dream state. Spirit travel usually occurs during the time of sleep transition, going into or out of a deep sleep. This is also the time where most of our spiritual consciousness is alive. Many have awaken during this transition and before it is complete they become suspended, stuck if you will, and can't move nor speak. Have you ever had this experience? I’m sure you have, this is called sleep paralysis. Others may call it a hag spirit, or as my mom would say..”the devil is riding your back”. Whatever one deems to call it, it is a very scary experience. Many who have experienced spirit traveling do so from a common place called Dejavu. Dejavu (the already seen) is when we encounter a place we have already been, a person we have already seen, or an act we have already done. A logical explanation of this could be this, our spirit travels while sleep and whenever your physical consciousness connects with a person, place and or thing your spirit man has already encountered. Whenever this happens there is an alertness or shall I say an awakening that takes place. Our minds begin to rationalize and process if we were actually there before or not and or tries to recapture the moments that have already been experienced. Dejavu in itself is what I call a scary-wonderful moment. Spirit travel, I believe is a form of time travel as well. Spirit travelers and Astral projectors can move and transport objects and or people. Jesus transported Himself to escape His attackers an entire ship and crew from a storm at sea to a peaceful shore in a matter of seconds. Evangelist Philip was teleported (spirit traveled) by the spirit of God to a region (Azotus) that was roughly 30km (18 miles) away from Jerusalem/Gaza after baptizing the Eunuch. (Lk. 4:30; Jn. 6:16-21; Acts 8:39) Now I’d like to discuss astral projection… * Wikipedia says astral projection aka astal travel is a term used in esotericism to describe a willful out-of-body experience (OBE), a supposed form of telepathy, that assumes the existence of a soul or consciousness called an "astral body" that is separate from the physical body and capable of travelling outside of it throughout the universe. The difference in astral projection and spirit travel can be found in their definitions. One is self induced and the other is not. Astral projection is a famous tool of travel of those who operate in the the dark arts, whether consciously or unconsciously. The word of God tells us not to engage in the practices of witches, warlock, soothsayers, mediums, familiars, etc. (Deut. 18:10-12) Astral projectors utilize leylines and silver cords to travel. Leylines and silver cords can be found within the word of God. (Ecc. 12:6-7 and Is. 34:8-12) How it basically works is the ley lines form a grid of horizontal and vertical lines. The lines are like a spiritual map or GPS that stretches across the universe. The astral traveler uses the silver cord to stay connected to the earth plain (conscious realm) and to locate the person, place or thing it’s tied with. Have your ever heard people say..”go deeper, find or locate me in the spirit?" This is all part of astral traveling. Astral projectors use, the third eye to see and trinkets, familiars, even prophetic words as beacons to locate those they want to visit. (Gen. 43:5, 15) Many have been visited by old pastors even current leaders. Those who are controlling, lustful and greedy for money are those who travel the roads of the astral the most. They pop up in dreams and even while awake, disguised with familiar faces, where people are easily influenced and taken off guard. Demons can most certainly take someone astral traveling. (1 Cor. 12:2; Eph. 4:14; 2 Tim. 2:26; 1 Jn. 5:18) Satan himself took Jesus on top of the mountain and presented Him a kingdom that already belonged to Him. (Mk. 4:8; Lk.4:5) In order to deal with these astral travelers deal with the ley lines and silver cords. Silver cords can be severed and ley lines can be scrambled or dismantled. Scrambling leylines causes locations to be lost. Cutting silver cords breaks the access of the astral traveler from going back into the earth realm and they could even die. Also shut all access to scanning spirits and 3rd eye activity. There is one prayer I uttered one day as I grew weary in being attacked by demons in my sleep. My prayer was, Father, help my spirit to fight even while I’m sleep. That next night the lord took me out of myself. I saw myself laying on my bed. A demon entered my room and came towards my sleeping body. All of a sudden I saw my spirit man come out my body and begin to resist the spirit that was in my room. The demon had positioned itself over me and I took my hands and pushed him back with such force it flew backwards. As I pushed the demon off me I said, NO! I said NO so loud that it literally woke me up and my hands were in the same position and I was saying the same word NO that I did in the dream. After that this incident I would see my spirit outside my body watching myself battling demons. I have been taken to distant lands around the globe and have been taken to the 3rd heaven numerous of times. All of my spirit travel had nothing to do with me inciting them but all to do with the timing and the will of the Father allowing it to be so. We are a spirit filled people in a spiritual war and it behooves us to know how to live and operate in the spirit realm or at least know how our enemy does to better prepare and protect ourselves.
